In a significant ceremony that took place in the CECs Science Tent, on November 7th the closing ceremony of the third edition of the Audiovisual Festival of Experimental Design Valdivia -FEDAXV-, occasion in which they were awarded the winners of the different categories competed in the contest.
The festival, which was organized by Santo Tomás College based Valdivia, through its Graphic Design career and the National Directorate of the Santo Tomás Design Department . The winner of the ” Rivers Filmmakers” category was Guido Arnés with his “54 Fragments of the World”, and Gabriela Amaya, with “Celestial” in the first and second place respectively.
“There were several works that caught my attention in the competition, very interesting and very well made mounts are displayed, so I was surprised when they call me, which was basically a photographic material mounted as video, so I’m very happy and satisfied that I got the first place ” Guido Arnés said.
Also, the valdiviano filmmaker whose short film was a collection of digital overlays from around the world, highlighted the realization of the event. “I knew the festival last year, so I decided to compete this year with my project because FEDAXV is great initiative and platform that fills a space that was in the audiovisual genre in Valdivia”.
Guido Harness, received the statuette from the hands of the National Director of the Santo Tomás Design Department, Gonzalo Aranda.
